Vietnam will host its first official Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports championship in 2025 as part of MOONTON Games' global expansion strategy.

Broadcast and Significance
Matches will stream live on YouTube and Facebook, combining Vietnam’s growing mobile gaming audience with MLBB’s 1 billion+ global install base. The event marks Vietnam’s integration into MOONTON’s Southeast Asian esports roadmap, which includes MPL leagues in seven countries.
Editor’s Comments
Vietnam’s inclusion in MLBB’s official circuit reflects MOONTON’s aggressive regionalization strategy amid Southeast Asia’s $1.8B mobile esports market. The hybrid offline/online model and BO7 final mirror trends seen in Indonesia’s MPL, suggesting MOONTON is standardizing formats for cross-regional consistency. However, the modest prize pool highlights Vietnam’s emerging status compared to Indonesia’s $300K MPL events.
