CD PROJEKT RED North America is bolstering its ranks with top-tier talent for Project Orion, the highly anticipated sequel to Cyberpunk 2077.
The project, still in its nascent stage, is gaining momentum with the addition of several industry veterans at the newly established Boston studio.

The core team leading Project Orion includes Gabriel Amatangelo (Game Director) and other key figures from the Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty expansion teams. These seasoned professionals are now part of an expanding team in Boston, Massachusetts, laying the groundwork for the next chapter in the Cyberpunk saga.
High-Profile Recruits Joining the Fray
The Boston team welcomes Dan Hernberg as Executive Producer, bringing his rich experience from Amazon Games, Panic Button, and Blizzard Entertainment. Ryan Barnard, with a background at Massive Entertainment and IO Interactive, steps in as Design Director, and Alan Villani, a former VP of Technology at WB Games, joins as Engineering Director.
Narrative Powerhouses to Craft the Story
Anna Megill, an award-winning game writer, is set to lead the narrative team, drawing on her extensive experience with titles like Control and Dishonored. Alexander Freed, a New York Times bestselling novelist, joins the writing team, bringing his narrative expertise from BioWare and other major studios.
