Nefer is an upcoming Dendro main DPS character in Version 6.1. She first appeared in the Song of the Welkin Moon Teaser: Moonlit Ballad of the Night, drawing attention with her mysterious role.
The name Nefer comes from an Egyptian hieroglyph meaning "perfect" or "beautiful," and may also reference Queen Nefertiti. This gives her character a sense of elegance that matches her sharp mind and leadership.
Story
In the game's story, Nefer is the head of the Curatorium of Secrets, an organization based in Nasha Town.
Known for solving everything from small commissions to complex investigations, the Curatorium has built strong ties with both local residents and the Adventurers'Guild.
Nefer's reputation comes from her ability to get results quickly and reliably, making her a trusted figure in the community.
She is described as highly knowledgeable, with insights into the past, present, and even the future.
Her companion, a black cat named Ashru, often delivers her letters, adding another layer of mystery to her character.

Release Information
According to Genshin's drip marketing, Nefer is set to arrive in Genshin Impact Version 6.1, which is expected to launch on October 22, 2025.
It has not yet been officially confirmed whether she will appear in the first or second half of the update.
Also, there're some leaks about the Version 6.1 banners, which may feature Nefer, Arlecchino, Furina, and Zhongli, though the order remains unknown.

Normal Attack: Striking Serpent
Performs up to four consecutive kicks, dealing Dendro DMG.
- Charged Attack: Enters the Slither state, rapidly moving forward while consuming Stamina. Exiting the state deals Dendro DMG to nearby opponents.
- Plunging Attack: Plunges from mid-air, dealing AoE Dendro DMG on impact.
Elemental Skill: Senet Strategy: Dance of a Thousand Nights
- Charges forward, dealing AoE Dendro DMG and entering the Shadow Dance state.
- While in Shadow Dance, if at least 1 Verdant Dew is available, Nefer's Charged Attack is replaced with Phantasm Performance.

Elemental Burst: Sacred Vow: True Eye's Phantasm
- Deals AoE Dendro DMG to opponents in front.
- Consumes all Veils of Falsehood on cast to increase this skill's DMG.
Passive Talents
<Talent 1> A Wager of Moonlight
- Grants effects based on the party's Moonsign.
- Under certain Moonsigns, Nefer's Elemental Skill will alter Dendro Core reactions, creating Seeds of Deceit instead.
- Seeds of Deceit can be absorbed by Nefer's Charged Attacks to gain stacks of Veil of Falsehood, which in turn enhance her Elemental Mastery.
<Talent 2> Daughter of the Dust and Sand
- Increases ATK based on Nefer's Elemental Mastery that exceeds a certain threshold.
<Talent 3> Moonsign Benediction: Dusklit Eaves
- Bloom reactions triggered by the party become Lunar-Bloom, whose DMG scales with Nefer's Elemental Mastery.
- While Nefer is in the party, the party's Moonsign level increases.
<Talent 4> Conspiracy of the Golden Vault
- Gains increased rewards from long expeditions in Nod-Krai.
Weapon
Leaks suggest that Nefer's signature weapon is a Catalyst called "Reliquary of Truth", with Base ATK of 542 and 88.2% CRIT DMG sub-stat.
Passive:
- Increases CRIT Rate.
- After using an Elemental Skill, grants Secret of Lies, increasing Elemental Mastery for a duration.
- When dealing Lunar-Bloom DMG, grants Moon of Truth, increasing CRIT DMG for a short time.
- If both effects are active simultaneously, their bonuses are further increased.

- Lunar-Bloom DMG from Phantasm Performance scales with Nefer's Elemental Mastery and is further enhanced by Veil of Falsehood.

Strengthens Passive Talent 1 "A Wager of Moonlight":
- Extends Veil of Falsehood duration and increases its stack limit.
- Phantasm Performance gains increased DMG.
- Using Elemental Skill instantly grants stacks of Veil of Falsehood.

- Increases Elemental Skill level by +3 (max level 15).

- Increases Verdant Dew generation speed while in Shadow Dance.

Increases Elemental Burst level by +3 (max level 15).
C6: Victory Flows from the Turning of Tides
- Phantasm Performance gains additional AoE Dendro DMG scaling with Elemental Mastery.
- At the end of Phantasm Performance, an extra AoE instance of Lunar-Bloom DMG is triggered.
- While under Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam, Lunar-Bloom DMG is further increased.
