Call of Duty, a popular video game series, has recently released a direct sequel for the first time in consecutive years. This new installment brings several notable features, including weapon progression, a wide range of Carry Forward content, and an all-new Campaign that picks up the story right after the events of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.
What will be Updated?
Since its August 17 reveal, Modern Warfare III has dropped a variety of important game innovations and revelations:
- Campaign: Open Combat Missions: These redefine player agency, offering unparalleled freedom and adaptability within the campaign.
- Multiplayer: Classic maps from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, revitalized and updated.
- Multiplayer: Aftermarket Parts, offering unique modifications through in-game challenges.
- Modern Warfare Zombies: Operation Deadbolt, an expansive open-world experience against undead hordes and a formidable enemy.
Beta Feedback and Updates
The Modern Warfare III Multiplayer Beta has concluded, and the development team is actively fine-tuning the gameplay based on community feedback. Expect regular updates and patch notes starting on November 10.
Preload & Early-Access
On November 2, players who have digitally preordered or prepurchased Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will gain early access to the game's campaign. This includes Open Combat Missions and an opportunity to dive into the action one week before the official launch. The campaign introduces a new level of freedom and adaptability for players.
The complete game, which includes the entire Campaign, iconic Multiplayer, and a brand-new open-world experience with Modern Warfare Zombies, is set to launch on November 10th.

- Campaign Early Access Preload: November 1, 10 AM PT for all platforms (PlayStation, Xbox, Battle.net, Steam).
- Campaign Early Access Go-Live: November 2, 10 AM PT.

- Full Game Launch: November 9, various times for all platforms.

Season 1 (Early December)
Season 1 for Modern Warfare III is set to launch in early December, promising a wealth of content, including the integration of Call of Duty: Warzone™ and new maps and modes. Vault Edition owners can unlock their seasonal Battle Pass and Tier Skips.
Campaign: The Direct Sequel
The Modern Warfare III Campaign, developed by Sledgehammer Games and Infinity Ward, offers a seamless narrative experience with cinematic moments and Open Combat Missions. Players can expect an engaging storyline filled with unexpected alliances and unfinished business.
