For educational purposes, the new Apple Pencil is available at a reduced price of $69 (U.S.) for current and newly accepted college students, their parents, faculty, staff, and home-school teachers.
Apple Pencil (1st generation) remains an option for the latest iPad models, with a USB-C to Apple Pencil Adapter included in the package, priced at $99 (U.S).
Existing owners of Apple Pencil (1st generation) can purchase the USB-C adapter separately for $9 (U.S). Apple Pencil (2nd generation) is available for $129 (U.S) and is compatible with iPad Air, iPad mini, and iPad Pro models.
