Riot's team-based fighting game 2XKO is reported to leave early access and officially launch on January 20, 2026, following an accidental trailer upload to YouTube.
Players can already wishlist console editions in the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store ahead of that date.
Platforms & availability
2XKO is available now in early access on PC and will launch on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S when it leaves early access in January 2026. There is no current word on Switch or native mobile ports. The game will be free to play and supports cross-platform progression so accounts and unlocks carry across platforms.
What the PC early access has shown
Early access began in October 2025 and has offered a look at core systems: 2v2 tag mechanics, team switching, Fuses that change match rules, and multiple lobby options including Ranked, Casual, and Private matches. The PC build has been used to test rollback netcode and matchmaking systems ahead of the wider launch.
